Payment Policy

A booking is confirmed with a deposit; the balance is due before departure. The deposit amount and the balance date are stated in your quotation. For Umrah packages the balance is normally due before the visa application is submitted, because the visa, hotels and tickets are paid to suppliers at that point.

If the balance is not received by the due date, suppliers may release the booking, and any charges that result are treated as a cancellation by you.

Payments are accepted by bank transfer, IBFT or cheque to the company bank account held in the name of ELIJAH TOURS AND TRAVELS (PRIVATE) LIMITED. The account details are printed on your invoice and are never sent by text message alone. We issue a receipt for every payment received.

Cash is accepted at our Lahore office against a printed receipt. We do not accept cash through agents, drivers or guides.

Card and online payment options are added as they become available and are announced on your invoice.

Only ever transfer funds to an account in the company's name. We will never ask you to send money to a personal account, to a mobile wallet belonging to an individual, or to a third party.

If you receive a message asking you to pay somewhere else, even one that appears to come from us, stop and call our published number before sending anything. Report suspected fraud to the FIA Cyber Crime Wing and let us know.

Quotations are issued in Pakistani rupees unless stated otherwise. Where a supplier prices in foreign currency, the rupee amount is fixed on the date of your payment; later rate movements do not change what you owe or what we owe you.

Prices include applicable Pakistani taxes on our services unless the quotation says otherwise. Foreign taxes, tourist levies and hotel city taxes payable locally are excluded unless listed.

Payments from outside Pakistan must comply with the Foreign Exchange Regulations and may attract bank charges, which are borne by the payer.
